Frequently Asked Questions

How much is camp? 

All camps are $250/week 

What should expectations be? 

The purpose of our camps are to provide enriching programs to children over the summer months that engage their minds, bodies, and hearts!

What are the hours and location? 

9am - 1pm M-F 

230 Seven Farms Drive, Ste 201, Daniel Island, SC 29492

We are located on the 2nd floor of the Synovus Center. 

Am I allowed to drop off early/pick up late? 

We are not able to offer early drop off/late pick up. We ask that you drop off no later than 9:10am and pick up no earlier than 12:50pm. Our doors remain locked for safety, we are not able to watch the door for late/early drop offs.

If your child must come late or be picked up early, we require written notice as soon as possible. Students will only be dismissed to those people listed in the registration. All adults picking up students must have a government issued ID to sign out a child. 

What are the ages? 

Our camps are geared towards children between the ages of 5-9. If you have an older child who would like to attend they are more than welcome and they can join us as a "junior counselor" by helping and mentoring our younger friends. 

What are the student/teacher ratios? 

2 teachers to 30 students 

What if my child is sick? 

We ask that you keep your child home if they have any symptoms.  We reserve the right to send your child home if they are ill. This is at the discretion of the teacher. 

Do you offer refunds if we are unable to attend? 

No. Registration may be transferred to another camper by emailing stefanie@elevatecommunityschool.com

Do you background check employees? 

We do! 

What types of activities do you do during camp? 

We offer a variety of activities to both educate and have fun! Depending on the camp students will be exploring different aspects of science, creating works of art, engaging with peers, and more!

What does a typical day look like? 

9:00-9:10 Arrival 

9:10-9:20 Expectations for the day 

9:20 - 9:40 Warm up activity/Teambuilding

9:40 - 10:00 Review of the day's activity

10:00 - 12:00 Engaging main activity

12:00-12:45 Lunch 

12:45 - 1:00 Goodbye & Dismissal

*This is a typical day schedule, however each teacher may adjust as he/she sees fit for the particular camp/group of children.

What are the themes for each week? 

We are offering a variety of exciting themes this year! Our camps include:

  • Under the Sea

  • All About Dinos

  • All About Mammals

  • All About Reptiles

  • All About Big Cats

  • All About Insects

What does my child need to bring each day? 

  • water bottle 

  • packed snack

  • packed lunch

  • wear comfortable clothes and shoes 

  • a great attitude and eagerness to learn!
