Savannah Armistead Bio

Savannah is excited to begin her first year of teaching at Elevate Community School. Originally from St. Croix, Savannah moved to Charleston in 2012 and has called the Lowcountry home ever since.

She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Newberry College, where she was actively involved in both rugby and collegiate cheerleading. Savannah is passionate about creating a positive, engaging learning environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and inspired to grow.

Outside of the classroom, Savannah enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and making memories with her one-year-old daughter, Sarae, who keeps life full of adventure and joy.
