Nira McNiven Bio
Nira grew up in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, and was adopted from Cambodia into a loving family. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in 2021.

Throughout her life, Nira has worked with children in a variety of settings and is passionate about youth development. She is committed to helping children build confidence, celebrate their own differences, and grow into the best versions of themselves. Her approach to education emphasizes creating a supportive, engaging environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to learn.

A lifelong athlete, Nira participated in competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, soccer, and basketball. Many local families may recognize her as Coach Nira from her time coaching gymnastics at The Little Gym of Mount Pleasant, where she fostered confidence, resilience, and a love of movement in young children.
​
Outside of the classroom, Nira enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring Charleston's vibrant restaurant scene. She is excited to be part of a school community that values the mental, physical, social, and emotional development of every child and looks forward to making a meaningful impact on her students' early educational experiences.
