Hanna Reed Bio
Hanna is entering her fourth year at Elevate Community School, where she brings warmth, patience, and a strong sense of purpose to her role. With a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies for Early Elementary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and nearly a decade of teaching experience, Hanna has a deep understanding of child development and how to create environments where young learners feel safe, supported, and inspired.
Before joining Elevate, Hanna served as a lead preschool teacher at Daniel Island Academy, where she was known for her ability to build strong relationships with children and families and adapt her teaching approach to meet each child’s unique needs. Her calm, consistent presence and passion for social-emotional growth help set the tone for the youngest members of our school community.
Hanna values creativity, connection, and curiosity in the classroom. She sees each day as an opportunity to guide her students not just academically, but in becoming kind, confident, and capable individuals.
When she is not in the classroom, you will often find Hanna exploring new places, as she loves to travel, or spending time outdoors with her beloved dog, Cricket.
