Grace Craig Bio

Grace is a Charleston native who earned her degree in Recreational Therapy from Clemson University in 2017. She began her teaching journey at East Cooper Montessori Charter School as a substitute in early 2018 and quickly discovered a passion for education. After two years as an Upper Elementary assistant, she completed her Montessori training through the Gulf Coast Montessori Teacher Education Center in 2020. That same year, she briefly taught first grade before returning to Upper Elementary, where she has spent the past five years, with a special focus on math instruction.

Grace has completed OGAP training in additive, multiplicative, and fractional math, giving her the tools to assess and support students in a way that fosters deep understanding and confidence. She’s passionate about helping students become critical thinkers and problem solvers.

Outside the classroom, Grace enjoys going to the beach, cooking, traveling, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, and spending time with her friends and family.
