Anne Anoia Bio

Now entering her second year at Elevate Community School, Anne serves as our Math Interventionist after previously teaching in the Oak Room. In this schoolwide role, she works with students across multiple classrooms, providing individualized support that helps build strong mathematical foundations, confidence, and a love of learning.

Anne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Elevate. She holds an undergraduate degree in Math and Psychology from Dickinson College, a Master's degree in Secondary Math Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and has completed additional graduate coursework in Mathematics at Villanova University. With more than 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience, she has dedicated her career to helping students grow as capable, confident problem-solvers.

Anne believes every child is capable of developing confidence and success in mathematics when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to think deeply. She enjoys helping students discover that mathematics is not just about finding the right answer, but about building perseverance, critical thinking skills, and a sense of confidence that extends far beyond the classroom.

Outside of school, Anne enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She loves relaxing at the beach, and one of her favorite vacation activities is snorkeling.
